At Anax Laboratories, we bridge cutting-edge chemical innovation with scalable, commercial-grade manufacturing. Established in 2012, Anax has evolved from an agile custom synthesis and discovery laboratory into an integrated, multi-platform Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO).

Today, operating out of our dedicated campus in Hyderabad’s premier life sciences cluster, Genome Valley, we deliver synthetic chemistry solutions across the entire pharmaceutical value chain—spanning early discovery chemistry, advanced process development, high-potency APIs (HPAPIs), complex peptides, oligonucleotides, and targeted bioconjugation technologies.

Our Evolution & Milestones

2012 — Foundation in Custom Synthesis

Anax Laboratories commenced operations with a core mission: to solve complex synthetic challenges for global innovator companies. Beginning as a dedicated discovery and custom synthesis laboratory, we built our reputation on high-purity chemical building blocks, reference standards, and novel synthetic route scouting.

2020 — State-of-the-Art Genome Valley Campus

To support expanding technical demands, Anax transitioned to its own purpose-built 2-acre R&D campus located in Genome Valley, Hyderabad. This modern facility centralized our discovery chemistry, advanced analytical characterization suites, and process optimization infrastructure within India’s flagship biotechnology corridor.

2025 — Backward Integration & Commercial API Scale

Marking a major strategic transformation, Anax acquired a significant stake in cGMP-compliant production facilities. This strategic integration expanded our footprint to 3 production trains and an aggregate capacity of 400 KL (reactors from 250 L to 12,000 L), allowing us to seamlessly scale benchtop chemistry directly into multi-ton commercial API and intermediate supply.

2026 — High-Value, Low-Volume API & HPAPI Specialization

Capitalizing on our scalable manufacturing network and process engineering expertise, Anax commissioned dedicated manufacturing lines for high-value, low-volume (HVLV) Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients and Highly Potent APIs (HPAPIs). Equipped with advanced barrier containment and precision isolation, this initiative empowers innovators with niche, low-OEL therapeutic molecules, oncology agents, and targeted delivery conjugates.
